Slight rust on metal inside dash

How many of you all see light rust under the dash on the framework? Or is it just mine.

Is this normal?

Surface rust on non weather exposed parts. Normal. No, it doesn't get worse.

Just had the dash apart and saw surface rust on almost all of the metal components. I'm not too worried about it.

Think of all those cold winter mornings dragging snow or rain inside you truck and getting the floor/carpet wet. Then you notice the condensation/fogging on the inside of the glass. At this point is where the rustis is coming from. But like everyone says it's normal. Even mine has it too under the dash...

No problem...

I thought my truck might have been wrecked and sat in a salvage yard. Sort of scared me at first.

Why does the truck manufactures primer these uncoated metal? I guess $$$$$$.
