how to rust proof the fenders and wheelhouses from the inside
Just wanted to pass this along. I noticed a nice way to get some rust convertor spray up into the fender/wheelhouse areas on the front and rear. On the rear take out the taillights and spray a bunch in there, as well as the middle stake hole in the bed. The front fenders are accessible if you take out the turn signals and spray up inside there.
I used 'must for rust' in the past, as well as POR-15's metal-ready. either one should do the job. Usually you'd paint over the stuff once its finished eating the rust, but Ive had good luck with just the convertor in spots like this where you cant paint.
