New Goerend Trans and Track

So just got the trans put in yesterday and OMFG I love this thing. Its just amazing. I also installed a smarty REVO at the same time and run that at 7 all the time. Went to the track last night as well and only got two runs in 14.4 on 7 and 14.2 on 9. I know im running out of fuel bad and the launches were horrible. I am for sure that I can dip into the 13s with this setup just gotta practice the launch and not get impatient and forget to do things. Over all I am very happy and cant wait for more fuel and air.

I know what you mean. The first days after I installed my Goerend's I thought it was just incredible how much difference there was.

Weird you have no smoke at all, and by the looks of your sig you are probably running the stock turbo which makes even less since. I would imagine you'd be dumping coal at the line like I do. Additionally, in that first video it sounded like your trans shifted early to Im guessing 4th, but maybe it was just that run.

I was also suprised that there was not a ton of smoke. Truck looked like it ran good and sounded great. I run TNT now, but when I ran revo on 9 my truck would still dump a ton of smoke before the turbo spooled up.

Man I thought I was hard on a truck trans but you take the cake going right from the trans shop to the track nothing like breaking it in. Good luck to ya

I did have dave build my TC with the stock stall because of the turbos that I plan on running. It is what he recomended so may be that might be it. If I puch it from a dead stop I do get a bunch of smoke. I also take my time spooling the tubo if that makes a difference. Any other ideas?

That was actually me hitting the lock-up switch way to late. 1st time running with one of those.

"Drive it like you stole it" If you work em hard they wont mind if you give em a day off, but if you give em the day off everyday they get ****** when you beat on em. This theory has served me well so far in life when it comes to vehicles and a few other things...

Guy's do four wheel boosted launch burnouts pulling out of Goerend's garage... When I had mine built, we were doing stop and go's for 45 minutes to make sure it was shifting properly in all the Enhanser settings. That was 60k miles ago and everything is still awesome!

My tranny rebuilder only gave me one instruction when I asked him how I should treat my new tranny "dive it like you stole it".

Hey! That's my line! I stole it years ago and it's mine!

My Georend tranny & TC has been making me smile for over 125,000 miles now, since 2004. I've smoked many a rice burner / Ferd that thought "I can whip that ol Dodge" I say; "You better bring a lunch youngster, your gonna need it."
