My truck has the stock air filter and assmebely. What is the best filter for the first gens? I would like to get more air because I have plenty of fuel!

 

the BHAF is the way to go. just look in the sticky there are 2 tamplate pics so you can cut and bend it (edit: the filter mount) for next to nothing. there's also a cold air "pot" that i believe is also in that same section.

 

Don't cut and bend your BHAF! Tha'll let dirt in!!

Does anyone have the dimensions of the BHAF element?? length and outside diameter??

So, if I make a cardboard roll 10-1/2" diameter and 10-1/2" long, wherever it fits, a BHAF should fit??

I just relocated a pair of batteries to a custom built carrier, just in front of the rear tires, in an effort to make room for the stock size filter/box, and it is gonna be tight.

If your going to put a box around it you would have to add that to the equation.
