engine shudder

engine shudder

starts shuddering at 50 mph its really bad at 60 mph then when you get up to 70 mph it goes away. i did u joints. its about 1500-1900 rpm it is shuddering at, any suggestions

Can you feel the shudder on the wheel or in the seat of your pants, that may tell you if its a rear wheel or front wheel thats out of balance, I had that once, seat of the pants in my case, got the rear wheels re-balanced and it fixed the problem, good luck

i just had all the tires balanced and bought new rims. i feel it thought the steering wheel real bad

Friend had an 03 with a vibration problem, I do not know if it was related, but shortly thereafter he end up with a $2400 bill to replace the front ball joints. I think the *********** made there week's income with his bill! Might want to check ball joints, just a suggestion
