cooling fan wiring

cooling fan wiring

I had wrecked my truck and recently noticed that the body shop didnt fix an electrical wire going to my fan, it has been cut, does any one know what it goes to? and my a/c doesnt cool when idling

You kind of answered your own question. The wiring goes to the fan, or do you mean the other end? The a/c won't cool at idle if the fan isn't engaging. The pressure in the condensor will build and the high pressure switch will shut down the compressor. But while moving there may be enough air crossing the condensor to help keep the pressures down.
