It looks like a standard clutch fan but it seems to work like an electric one.

All the electric does is lock up the clutch at a set teperature.

 

The ECM tells the fan clutch, "we need to cool her down boy, lock her up".

Mine told my fan to stay on and it Roared and Roared and Roared until they replaced it and now it is acting normal. ;D ;D ;D

Your ECM and Fan Clutch must have been having too of them Marguerita Parties down in Mex waitin to be shipped. &quot;Ole Fan Clutch&quot; got his brain pickled and just never sobered up.

Glad they moved a sober one in his place.

I will not allow it to drink too much again.

It was just out of control.

 

Mine doesn't overwork. It just always comes on soon after turning on the AC. It is not bothersome at all. I never complain about too much cooling.....
