Yes 1-11/16" but when I had to do mine i couldn't find one anywhere so I used a 1-3/4". Wouldn't recommend it but it does work if you get stuck

Thanks

Thanks for the input. I had to borrow the 3/4" rachet set from work.
It took me 3.5 hours to get the brakes done on one side of the truck. I would really like to meet the engineer who designed the brakes and kick him in the A$$.
I am going to do the other side tonight.
thanks again

He probably wanted to turn or replace the rotors. When just replacing pads it takes me longer to retorque the wheel lug nuts than to do the whole rest of the job.

Yes i was replacing the pads and rotors. wait till you have to change the rotors and you will know what i am talkin about.

Wheel bearings, can you buy just the bearings and seals for the front Dana 60 or do you have to buy the whole unit assembled. i priced the unit at Autozone and it was $371, ouch.
anyone know?
thanks

The 99 requires a different hub assembly than the 95. NAPA sold me the wrong hub last year -- it wore out in less than 12 months. Fortunately they gave me a full credit for the wrong hub since it was their mistake (normally $399.39). The one for the 99 is Left/Right specific, and comes with the ABS sensor/wire (and is rated for more weight). I cut the wire off since it was not needed for my truck.

The (Dana 60) hub assembly is a sealed unit, and cannot be serviced/repacked. Only choice is to replace the whole unit.
