5" Exhaust, Magnaflow 4" on the truck now

I am currently running a 4" exhaust (down pipe and all) w/ the Magnaflow muff. I am in the process of making some serious changes, as I have:

TST PMCR R49AP on the way, stacking with my BDPP.
Next in line is a air intake, SPS, and Injectors.
So......

I am going to upgrade to 5" exhaust and had 2 questions:

1)Does Magnaflow make a TRUE 5" Muffler?
2)Anyone need a complete 4" exhaust with a 4" Magnaflow muff?

MagnaFlow

SS,
I've heard the MangaFlow muffler isn't a true 5". The MBRP and Flowpro (I think) have a true 5" inside the muffler. What kind of shape is your exhaust in and what are you asking? Being in Pearland too would make it easy for me.

Exhaust has @ 10K miles on it, in very good to excellent condition. I am not sure what to ask for it, but you will have a PM in a second. You can call me and come by just about anytime to take a look at it, if you want.

My Magnaflow is 5" all the way back. Sounds great and is not obnoxious at all. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 5" system.

I'm just of the reverse opinion on the obnoxious part and a recommendation. Mine has a nasty drone to it 1900-2200 rpm.
I'm not sure where some are coming from on the 4" thru the muffler thing but mine is a true 5" thru the muffler.

I like my Magnaflow, but is does have the drone from @1900-2200 RPM like you said, but I still love it. But since I do make long trips, I find myself speeding more to stay above the 2200 drone

I think I may go with the 5" Magnaflow, maybe their longer muffler, as I have their shortest 4" diesel muff right now......
