long story. was my truck. gave it to my son who was off in college. he drove it for a year, and apparently ran it out of oil. engine runs, but clatters. have not had a clear diagnosis of the problem.

Dont know any mechs down that way, but if he ran it out of oil you are probably looking at: spun rod bearings or spun main bearings. sorry to hear that though
