Had to borrow one of the gf's tractors to get the loader off the trailer and up on its parking stands for the initial install...

Nice. The things I could tear up with that loader (including the loader itself)

You would have to work pretty hard I think... Some crazy think steel on that thing!! Mounting brackets are all 1.5" or better The knee joints are also very stout..

Impressed with the work I have done so far with it... Need more weight in the rear yet, backing out a full load of wet sludge out of the boat ramp was tricky... Need to rebuild teh FWA.. reverse solenoid is a bit sticky yet...

Brian,
I'm sure having two tractors is a real pain. Since you like the JD so well, I'm sure the little, red, inadequate one is now in your way. Feel free to bring it up here to The Ranch and park it. I promise I will start it weekly to be sure everything stays lubricated and in working order. Honest.....I will.....I promise.

so the AC in my truck has more issues than i thought, topped it off with 134A, then during my 90 miles road trip today. the AC slowly quit blowing, but the blower motor was still running like crazy, and the air comnig out was semi cold. so is my AC "freezing up"? i have heard the term but not entirely sure what it means.

also i turned the AC off for about 30 min, turned it back on and it was blowing hard and cold....

my RANT...

Do a search for ac problems on the 3rd gens. I don't know what all it involves, but there are some threads about "blend door" problems. Sure ain't time for that sucker to quit!

You should see my loader at home. The frame is in good shape, the bucket is another story. But it is well suited now for carrying logs...not so good for dirt. Both sides are rolled in and the top is a little bent. Too many brush piles.

My brother-in-law has a Koyker loader on his 3020. Good loader, but they just got done having some additional bracing added to the bottom. Basically built a girdle to tie both sides together under the tractor frame. Before it was there, it had some side-to-side play.

Must be nice, we just recently got enough rain at home yet to bother putting any of that expensive fertilizer out. I cut some of that "free hay" (no fertilizer, just trying to clean the meadow before fertilizer) on Saturday planning to roll it on Memorial Day....instead, it rained all day on it. Oh well, I'll take the rain on the hay since it put the rest of the fertilizer in the ground on the other meadows.

Must have been a design change or maybe just a diffferent model, but mine has a probably 5x8" heavier than heck rectangular tube that bolts between the pedastals under the tractor... Seems like it will transfer the loads better and try and prevent frame twist

That sounds just like what he added to his.

In the past when I would load the top row of bales on the GN, it would constantly rock side to side. Ever since they added the bracing, it's solid as a rock.

Thanks to everyone who helped me put my Ride Rites on today
Me thinks that 55 psi unloaded is a tad too much Especially on Charlie's "driveway" . Was great to see Diesel-Dan too.
Next meet might be some springs from CSS (thanks RJ, everytime I talk to you, my wallet gets lighter) and an offset swaybar bushing from Lazarsmith.

Wish I could make it back out there tonight, but I think I might be too tired. I will be hanging out here:

Hope you all have fun at the drags.

Air Bags definately had your rear end up there! Bet it was rough on hwy too.

Drags in Denton were fun. Never did see Ray Salter Run??? Diesel trucks took a back seat to the cars....as usual.
