This high humidity takes it's toll, but mine still gets down to about 50* at the vents.

Mine is better than it was after adding some freon last year. Lately I have been having trouble with my blower motor. I have to "pop" it with my flashlight to get it to come on.......every now and then.

Black trucks and July/August Texas temps don't go very well together! Why do you think I cry for winter all the time...

According to my VITDT (thank Rowland), I'm only seeing around 60* at the center vents.

Maybe your VITDT needs a DOWMUC.

Department Of Weights & Measures Updated Calibration

On a serious note (but still a funny word), anyone have a Torx Head Set. I need a T-25 to replace the Governor Soleniod in my trannys valve body.
It is occasionally sticking in 2nd gear, under heavy throttle, and not shifting! Dropping pan to change filter/ATF fluid so good time to change parts.
ROB? just remembered....used your set on tailgate, I think. Got a #25?

No problem on the VITDT. Also, I have the hose and gauge to add freon if needed.

Ain't got no Torx.

Mine center vent was at 60*, on Max, before the freon add.

I've noticed the DW threads on the 3rd gen forms.

Just checked my low side pressure. Sitting right at 45psi by my gauge with the compressor running. So it doesn't look like it needs any more R134a. And the temps appear to be right on with the book. FSM shows 60-70* output at 90*ambient.

Maybe it's time to mount a roof-top unit for extra cooling.

The Maroon Refrigerator!

I have one of the cheapy gauges from Wally World. It has #'s, but I pay more attention to the "Green, Yellow and Red" readings. I add just enough freon to get it right to the Green/Yellow divide.

Where did you get the temp vs ambient temp chart?

Forcast poor through Wed but looking good for Races on Sat night and good for weekend in general!

The temp vs. pressure chart is in the FSM under the Heating/Air Conditioning->Diagnosis and Testing->A/C Performance

Here is a copy of the chart.

I should go check mine today. See if I get 40*-50* temps with the 70* ambient outside.
