Didn't know there was such a thing... oh the ones with rubber liners?
My best guess at hose OD is 3/8"??
String ties wouldn't hold the hose on at 65+psi, so went to band clamps!

No, they have an internal SS band that keeps the thread slots from cutting into the silicone. The best ones are also constant-tension types (since silicone shrinks when heated), but not necessary in diameters less than 2" and sub-100psi pressures IMO.

I'll bring some appropriately-sized shielded SS clamps with me - that should solve your problem.

Will do. I'm getting some o-rings for the connector tubes as well. Going to pull my #5 and see if I can figure out where the leak is coming from.

Thanks but not sure that will solve!
It's the outside edge of my clamps that cuts into hose. Did not know Silicon shrinks...maybe I've been over tightening? I assumed the hose was balloning a bit under pressure and the clamp edge was digging into it?

It looks like we're in for some good weather (as of today). This is for Dallas and it'll be a little cooler at The Ranch. You guys that are sleeping out need to bring plenty of covers.

Also, if it rains Friday, be sure to park on the road surfaces until it dries out some.

Got a couple of Dieselram.com guys coming as well. Charlie I'll be there friday night. Just depends on how long it takes the SGM to get done with his Friday speeches. Make sure somebody brings some axes and chainsaws. That wood is dry enough to burn. Mare sure you guys leave me a spot to back the trailer in so I can get it unloaded or whereever you what to put it. I've got probably 100+ logs anywhere from 4" to 14" in size and rough 4' to 15' long. I'm leaving late IOT not be in the middle of Dallas rush hour with a load of logs.

I could also bring up some burgers from the Commisary if you like. Meat is really good and half the cost of the economy. Let me know. I lost my vioce some please email me back. Hopelyfully I can talk by Friday.

My chainsaw is worn out and don't won't to start, but I do have an axe. We'll unload it in the far back corner of the back fence line.

Do what you can to miss Dallas rush hour. It ain't purdy and it ain't fun.

If it's not too much trouble, you might bring a few burgers. We may have to add it to the chili beans to make it go far enough.

I'll email or call you later. Just remembered it, sorry I missed your call the other day. We were in the process of recovering my wifes stolen van and I forgot to call back.

That's perfect sleeping weather...I was worried I might have to use the fan already.

Does this mean you found it?

I didn't see any vehicles towing south (surprisingly) on my way to Giddings Friday.

Thanks for looking. Must have been a slow week for "El Mexico Transport".

The van is in the shop now. Car lot in Balch Springs bought it for junk and when they got it back, the owner said "Uh-Oh", this thing was stolen. Anyway, he called and we went and got it. A lot more to the story that I'll tell you later.
