North Texas DTR #8 December GTG?
Well guys found out I cant make it this weekend I completly forgot I had exams next week and I have to study! I will for sure be at the next meet. I probably could have came for a little while if it was at the ranch since its much closer.
How did the meet go?? Wish I coulda been there.
Did you have steaks again? Did you get your collective projects done?
Rowland, I saw you going home up 75 somewhere around Allen.....about 2:15pm........as I was on my way in to work. Tried to call you to say hi, but all I could hear on your cell phone was static....

Good Meet!
Nice weather! Cold Nights but managed to sleep indoors! Worked on 4 trucks ....Solved Tylers HP problem.... found out rewiring (or new harness) for 2nd Gen headlights is not any brighter.... Brian got his quick change 'thingy' installed. Scott now has an Alarm System and Tyler has a TT/Remote Start.
Saw and rode in a 700 hp 06...6 speed.... Rode 4 wheelers... excellent steak dinner... Brian 'fix fire' (started with too much gasoline).
Those in attendance.....
Brian
Rowland
Tyler
Scott
Rob
Charlie
Justin (from BCS35)
Austin (local kid with 99 Sport)
Romero (700 hp 06)
William (Romero's Brother)
Dom
Romero, William & Justin drove 400 miles to end up NOT buying a truck (not as advertised) and not getting their traction bars for Romero's 06. But they did get a steak diner and seemed to have fun!
Big thanks again, to Oscar, (Brian's Grandfather) for use of his very well equiped shop and his house!! And to Brian's parents for a delicious Steak Dinner. Great weekend!
February Meet will be in Alvarado, TX. Indoor Pulling, Burn-Out Contest, Dyno(?), etc. Waiting for dates from Buck & Bobby??

HAHA....though you said that ROMO was at the meet......was going to say...thats about right then.......cuz he (OR actually his offensive line, receivers.....am i missing anyone?) didn't show up to play yesterday......
ANYONE ELSE AS TICKED ABOUT THAT GAME YESTERDAY AS I AM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Actually very good game, if you can look past who you wanted to win! JMO.
The three 'pros' on Inside NFL picked NY to win...based on performance in last 1/3 of season.
Think the old line is true... Offense sells tickets but defense wins Play-Off games.
Sorry to hear 'Maxi-Me (Whitey) is down. You missed an nice 06. Very aggrivating to see how easy it is ti get the 3rd Gens to 600-700 HP!

Cowboys? I was embarassed.
Dropped *****, stupid penalities and a line that couldn't hold off a 4 YO in the 4th qtr.
If they had pulled it out..........they didn't deserve to win.............
now.........GO GREEN BAY!

I JUST PRAY that the axle nut comes off easy.....they can be a pain......
Nope.....game sucked........BUT did you catch that rookies (Cant remember his name) interception at the goal line yesterday in the Colts/Chargers game? WOW! That was awesome....
I agree....the offensive line just stayed home! Romo spent more time on his back looking up at the hole in the Texas Stadium Roof than he did on his feet.

Could have been a different game too...if Patrick Crayton hadn't dropped some passes that were right in his hands! (one would have been a touchdown for sure....no one anywhere near him)
I agree Charlie......GREEN BAY......ALL THE WAY!! I'd really like to see Favre get this Super Bowl win (and then ride off into the sunset and retire). I went to school with Favre at U. of Southern Miss. Im pulling for him all the way!
..
Well, I made it to this one...just a few hours late. Came through Fairfield around 6:15pm on my way back from Houston, but figured everyone was already long gone by then.
Looking forward to the dates for February and hoping they hit a free weekend.
