Hey now, don't forget to thank Brian's teeth for pulling your truck under the shed.

It was great to meet up again with the members I did know and to meet the new guys. Just wish I could have had some more of my chapter there too.

Oh yes, thanks to Strong Man Brian for the impressive one handed pull that got me under the roof (along with a few people on the rear bumper). And also big thanks for the use of the VP44 puller. It may not be much to look at, but it gets the job done and I don't see it breaking.

And thanks to everyone else that handed tools or gave advice. Now I know how to do the replacement so I can do the next one when the new pump comes in. Plus I can go watch Dan's video and see what pointers I missed.

I'll get the Superman pic up tomorrow when I log in with my computer. Don't feel like starting it up tonight, the 630am flight comes too early tomorrow morning.

I had a lot of fun. This is the first time I have pulled. I learned several things. Among others is that I have more engine that a CON-O will hold. Stunk the place up on the last run.

It was good to meet some of you guys from the North Texas group at the dyno/pulls this weekend. I enjoyed it, and maybe I'll see some of ya'll at the event in Buda.

To all the new folks that I met this weekend....It was a pleasure. I hope to see you again at future Get Togethers! Just keep an eye on whatever thread we have going at any given time......right here!

I was pleased with my modest 518/1187 dyno run Friday night! My truck is definately got a LONG way to go to catch up to some of the rigs there! Schoolbus....guess I gotta go gunning to top yours next. Tyler is irrellevent now anyway...

That sled pull will get your blood pumping and your adrenaline dumping like I can't really describe. It was a weird mixture of anxiousness...praying for no carnage.....and exuberation to be able to actually make 35,000 lbs of dead weight move forward 200 + something feet. In one sense it was easier than I thought. But it will humble you quick there in the end. Whoo hoo!! No carnage! The stock trans lived for yet another day! Thanks everybody that helped with providing video of the pulls.

You guys that TRY to sleep in your truck are alot tougher than I am. I just don't see how you could even think you would be comfortable in the cab of a cold truck curled up on a seat like a pretzel.....or worse...sleeping the bed of the truck with a florescent light shining in your eye as the cold wind blows on you. Geesh. You had an invitation to stay in the warm camper. Even the floor of the camper, imo, is better than any option outside.

Friday night the camper was packed.....but there was room for at least 3 more Sat. night.

Oh well...sorry you and Rowland had to run this morning. Wish we could have seen ya'll again, but leaving under those conditions, I understand.

Rowland...I have your "diet coke" glass. Also, somebody left a "Flag" camp chair that we are not sure who it belongs too. Anybody missing one? And somebody left a pair of sunglasses in the camper too.
