February Meet will be in Alvarado, TX
Just got home from the Dyno.
I think the dyno might be off. My 06 running only the XZT ran 359.6 HP and 903.3 ft lbs. I always thought my truck ran a little stronger than it should but 903 lbs? The HP might be close but I think that much torque would require more fuel and a bit of SMARTY
.
.
This was my first dyno experience and I felt a bit intimidated by all of the really nice looking rigs. Mine looks bone stock except for the bumpers. The people were very friendly and helped show me what to do. I was very pleased with my results. I came out with 527.7 HP and 1342.8 ft lbs on #2 and a single turbo. The correction factor was 1.01 for my runs.
It was great to meet all you guys at the pull. I must say I was impressed. When I arrived at the parking lot there were parts laying all over the place, but when you guys were done, everthing ran perfectly again. I cut out when they brought all those noisey V-8 tractors back in. If anybody is coming through Lewisville hallar, we'll get a cup.
Ditto Jim, Sorry we were so scattered and could not spend more time!
Great weekend. Three of us pulled the sled with no carnage!!
El Presidente.... Hope all went well for your family. You were missed, Charlie!

Well, earlier in the week I was trying to see if there were any projects that I needed/wanted to work on this weekend. I guess the truck found one for me.
But the loaner pump is running fine. No issues this morning on the way home aside of a leak around number 5 or 6. Once it cools down enough so I can lay on it again, I'll go tighten it down.
I guess I can now join the ranks of the dead VP44 club. Just glad it decided to die when I had plenty of assistance around. Thanks to Rob for the tow and Justin for the pump.

Had a great time
Sorry I left early without saying goodbye, but I didn't sleep well, as I was twisted up like a pretzel.
Was nice to meet a bunch of new folks, Max, Eli, Jim and others I can't remember. Come on out to our next event, we always have a good time, and lots of wrenching goes on.
Glad I finally got to use my trailer to haul something other than my quads. Had never pulled anything that heavy. No problems.
Justin, where is the "Superman 2" picture?
Robert, thank you for the hotdog and Max, thank you for the deer sausage, 'specially the hot (part of the reason I left early
)
Thanks to Mike for notching the top brackets of my airbags, I will be putting them on as soon as I get some good sharp bits for my air drill.
Well, I hear the music playing, so I will stop typing.
Charlie, again you were missed. Hope all is going well and hang in there. If you need anything, let me know.
(and Scott is a poser for sleeping at the Days Inn)

That's not bad, mine took two rides in one day! Glad you got it home OK. Really glad it was the only "mis-cue" for the weekend. No carnage on the dyno or in front of the sled makes for a good weekend.
Sorry I missed it, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I'll know more early next week, but for now let's plan our next meet for the weeknd of March 15th at The Ranch. That's the ODRA dyno weekend. When I know something, I'll start a new thread.
