That may be a little harder to talk me into since it is my daily driver. I have to admit it sure is tempting though.

My only suggestions from watching sled pulls up here......is to be smooth.....and get the R's up......

If you have a single disk clutch......i would not get to crazy......you will smoke your clutch due to the slipping needed to get the sled going.....I cant count the amt of burned single disk clutches i have seen at the local shop here from pulling.....

If you get to bucking....let off slow and dont HIT THE BRAKES! haha.....

OK...that is my suggestions from what i have seen folks to up here!

ALSO....4Low and 2nd or 3rd Gear.......

XLR8R was stock clutch and TEXASCTD is a factory 48re. Give it try!
You can always back out of it (slowly like Dan says) if it feels, smells or sounds bad. That's my plan!
Did you get a hitch mounted under your truck?

well i got the FASS installed last night, it was slightly more difficult than i had anticipated, the first time to install something always takes a while for me, i could do it in half the time now... i had a heck of a time priming the pump, then i read the instructions ... OOF. got it fixed right up..

i also could not get the fuel lines all the way seated against the yellow washers, they all fall just short. i even lubed them up.

i cant wait for the alvarado meet, sonuds like alot of good tmies

2wd's cant really pull can they?

Wrong DD Robert.....he meant "daily driver", not "dual disk". Too many acronyms floating around here IMO.

Scott, I really don't blame you. These trucks are very expensive! Maybe you can at least dyno it though....up at Burleson.?
