What's the latest info for Brian's meet? Who is coming for sure? What time?

Did I miss it.....but who volunteered to help me with my truck brakes?? I'll do the work, I just need somebody that has done it to supervise me!!

I have to work Friday evening....But I hope to get down there maybe Saturday by noon.

I'd like to get the rear rotors off and look at those first thing and see if they need to be turned.....then run into town and get that done. Then come back and maybe target shoot a while in the daylight. Then work on the brakes some more in the evening..........installing new front rotors, pads all around, and flushing out all the old brake fluid and replacing with new DOT 3. Am I missing something? Once I tear into this, I have to be able to finish it to get my truck back on the road.

Im planning to bring Jared and let him a shoot a little bit too. Jana can't make this go round cause she is finishing up some errands, shopping etc. I'll prob go ahead and leave late late Saturday night instead of spending the night, but i'll see. Also, should I bring my Grizzly?

I'm sure there will be enough help there! I've done front 3rd gen brakes, never back (slightly different). Mike and Austin are probably the most expert.
Got a FSM?
Weather looks cold. If you want to work inside...better do it all at once, so others can pull in, depending on how many have work to do?
Save fluid change for last.... can be done outside easily enough, if need be!

Brian may still be buttoning up his 'new' 96
Jason is doing a new clutch
Tyler said he wanted to do some P-Pump stuff??
I have cross over steering to install and a "GM Conversion" governor soleniod/transducer to install in valve body.
Anyone else?

RJ

I have a BS in Stuporvising, but don't know yet if I can make it - might have some heavy equipment showing up to move machinery from the old shop this weekend.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys from myself and my family for the kind words the other weekend. Dad had been sick for a while, but I guess you're still never ready for that early morning call when it comes. I got back to Dallas on Saturday after spending the week with my Mom and my sister trying to get started on all the things that have to be done. We're doing better and know he's in a much better place now and doesn't have to suffer anymore.

In other news, I'm out for Saturday. I've got to work Friday night, then Saturday at noon is Christmas with Andrea's Mom. We'll see how that goes after pulling an all-nighter for work. It's going to be a bad week anyhow. Playing catch-up from last week, closing on the house on Thursday and getting ready for the weekend work. It would figure that I'd be busy when we have a "cold weather, indoor shop, target shooting" meet.

But then again, if anyone wants to miss out on that fun and carry furniture instead, you're more than welcome to come help me unload our storage container at our new place later in the weekend. LOL

Sorry to hear about your loss. I will make sure to say a prayer for him and your family.

Yup just thinking I need to get a head count together...

Pretty sure myself will be there so..
- RJ- crossover steering/ Fluid shifting thingy mod
- Jason- DD clutch install
- Robert- Brake job and flush 'W/ Supervision'
- Tyler- is a maybe... dropped a lifter and worse... the dowel!!
- Charlie- Ditching one family for another.. Out
- Mike- Maybe???
- Matt- Probably Not
- Rob ???
- Austin's Dodge?-

Jason may have a couple peeps down with him for moral support on the clutch change and take advantage of the 'firing range'

Have food lined up for Saturday evening, No burn ban that I know of and think I have a decent supply of wood for burning..

Can't believe we can't get a good group together when we have use of ....
an inside, heated, shop with every tool known to man (except a sharp 3/4" bit, a Press and a Topside Creeper ).
Must be a Holiday thingy?
