Yes...the pistons in a 12 valve are different...only due to the injectors being off-set in the head...they come in at an angle rather than the center like on a 24V. They have an oblong (Is that the right word?) dish in the "fire" portion to max the efficiently of the angle.

The 24 valve went to a center fire injector that increased efficiency as far as emissions goes…..hence why no Cat Converter for the 98.5 – 04.5 year trucks….

Torridlly -- Full of passion, especially sexual passion.

Oblated -- Shaped like a sphere but with the length of the diameter at the equator greater than the length from pole to pole.

NO NO NO

Bad Dog!

Spell-check is your dictionary's best friend... not torrid - toroid - as in Hemorrhoid.

From the Latin "torus", which roughly translated means "doughnut" (yes, they had Imperial Police in Rome!).

BTW - good call on the Perv-Lingo... gonna use "torrential" or "oblation" on the GF tonight (hey, it's Friday ya know!)

RJ, Ron said they'd sponsor Alvarado even more than last year, but I haven't heard anything else... probably waiting for Bobby & Buck to firm up the schedule.

BTW - if everyone would say "Oblate Spheroid" at least once a day, the world would be a better place!

I have been sending off for travel guide information.....for Alberta, British Columbia, and Alaska. After seeing that thread by 13Alpha and his trip to Fairbanks....from Colorado......it really has me wanting to make a big big trip sometime in the future.

Im sure Charlie won't want to go...since the temps there go below 90 even in the summer...

Seriously, I am just fascinated about the wilderness and untouched lands, mountains up in that part of our continent. I'd even like to make a trip to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

Ohhhh........if I only had 2 months of vacation time to spend on such a trip.
I am going to try to find a way to make this trip before I retire. And, then several of them after I do!!!

I have an Aunt in Yellowknife, my grandpa used to live there and my grandma worked at the Ekati diamond mine 400 miles North of there.

And while you take my vacation for me, would you like to take my toyhauler and ATV to ride while you do it? And my truck to pull it too? You're the best Charlie!
