Rules will hopefully be vastly different than that of Charlies regarding Fire....

Ugh - Fire good!

Uh what else??... hmmm bring sleeping bags or whatever... 3 couches inside the shop and probably a couple blow up mattresses if need be...

Gonna need stuff to shoot at!

I can't stand isolators either!

Well on my trip to Mississippi for Thanksgiving I hit it a little to hard (old school police ways...) and broke the plastic.

Police brutality...

So now I have a hole in my plastic a/c ductwork. I guess I will have to buy another one or get one from a junkyard or something. The a/c will still blow (with a tap) but now im getting in outside air. Any ideas besides duct tape?

Well, I reckon the AC's gonna work pretty well with outside air for a few months, anyhow.:p
p.s. Dom is gonna hafta eat somebody else's steak this time!

Regarding this month's Truck of the Month poll........I just wanted to say it was neat that we had so many trucks represented from North Texas DTR #8.

Brian, Rob, Matt (DD), Justin and Me!!! 5 out of the 24 entries!!!!

I guess I won, since it should be over (not sure why RattlinRam hasn't closed the poll yet, already into the 2nd day of December)........but Justin was coming in really close with 2 votes behind me as of this writing. (104 total votes with 16 me and 14 Justin) So good job Justin for making it such a tight race!!! And best of luck to everybody next time around!

You'd better win!

I'd hate for my vote to get wasted twice in the same month...

Sounds like a good turn out. Who is going to be there Friday, and what time?

I'll probably come early on Friday and knock out the HPFP before the serious work starts. Then, I can do some serious beer drinking and supervising.

By "knocking out the HPFP" I assume you mean watching Tyler (RIP) lay on his back installing it while you hold his beer?

It'll probably be about 3pm when I get there, I have work early in the morning and then Graduation to go watch half of my friends leave.
How much Shiner incentive do I need to bring to make sure we get it done right?

Yep - pretty sure that's what Charlie meant... hope he doesn't wear out Tyler too much - I've got him penciled in to "receive" the G56 when it clears the pressure plate.

Evan and I will be there 7ish.

Busy weekend Boys! Charlie will be very busy supervising... I might need to assist him.

Tight fit for two trucks at a time in your shop, Brian...no?
If it's cold.... Tyler can work outside! And Robert since he likes the cold weather!

Yep tight fit for two trucks but for most things (aside from trans removal..) you can leave the beds of the trucks outside and close the doors down to the top of the bed... That propane heater will still make it too hot to handle!

Of course if the weather does what weather.com says it will looks like close to 70*... In that case we have the shop, front asphalt, back covered patio concrete and concrete at the back of the shop... Should be able to figure something out...

If I can make it, anyone want to help drop a fuel tank?? I picked up a new sender from the Dodge house the last time I went to Giddings, now it's just a matter of finding the time and an empty enough tank to replace it.

Also, what's the preferred material for running the fuel line in the cab to a mechanical fuel gauge? Going to put a needle valve under the hood to control the flow, but wanted something I wouldn't have to worry about leaking/breaking in the cab.

Now that I have done it.. I definitely recommend removing the bed! So so much easier!

Tractor + chain hoist - 8 bolts and 2 electrical connections = easy tank access...
