December GTG at the Shop!
Rules we will keep the same as at Charlies regarding drinking.
So if anyone has to ask "Where's my keys?"....
Don't bother!
... and no whizzing or chumming
on the sidewalls when we're under the trucks!
Rules will hopefully be vastly different than that of Charlies regarding Fire....
Ugh - Fire good!
Uh what else??... hmmm bring sleeping bags or whatever... 3 couches inside the shop and probably a couple blow up mattresses if need be...
Gonna need stuff to shoot at!

My FP gauge is back to reading 5 psi again.
I think the problem is in the tubing or connections to my gauge and not the isolator. The gauge acts the same as it did before the new isolator and it started within a day after installing the new isolator.
I can't stand isolators either!
Well on my trip to Mississippi for Thanksgiving I hit it a little to hard (old school police ways...) and broke the plastic.
Police brutality...
So now I have a hole in my plastic a/c ductwork.
I guess I will have to buy another one or get one from a junkyard or something. The a/c will still blow (with a tap) but now im getting in outside air. Any ideas besides duct tape?
Well, I reckon the AC's gonna work pretty well with outside air for a few months, anyhow.:p

Regarding this month's Truck of the Month poll........I just wanted to say it was neat that we had so many trucks represented from North Texas DTR #8.
Brian, Rob, Matt (DD), Justin and Me!!! 5 out of the 24 entries!!!!
I guess I won, since it should be over (not sure why RattlinRam hasn't closed the poll yet, already into the 2nd day of December)........but Justin was coming in really close with 2 votes behind me as of this writing. (104 total votes with 16 me and 14 Justin) So good job Justin for making it such a tight race!!!
And best of luck to everybody next time around!

How much Shiner incentive do I need to bring to make sure we get it done right?
Yep - pretty sure that's what Charlie meant... hope he doesn't wear out Tyler too much - I've got him penciled in to "receive" the G56 when it clears the pressure plate.
Evan and I will be there 7ish.

Busy weekend Boys! Charlie will be very busy supervising... I might need to assist him.
Tight fit for two trucks at a time in your shop, Brian...no?
If it's cold.... Tyler can work outside! And Robert since he likes the cold weather!

Of course if the weather does what weather.com says it will looks like close to 70*... In that case we have the shop, front asphalt, back covered patio concrete and concrete at the back of the shop... Should be able to figure something out...
If I can make it, anyone want to help drop a fuel tank?? I picked up a new sender from the Dodge house the last time I went to Giddings, now it's just a matter of finding the time and an empty enough tank to replace it.
Also, what's the preferred material for running the fuel line in the cab to a mechanical fuel gauge? Going to put a needle valve under the hood to control the flow, but wanted something I wouldn't have to worry about leaking/breaking in the cab.

Tractor + chain hoist - 8 bolts and 2 electrical connections = easy tank access...
