Brian, see Dan's earlier post about why his dog is scarred for life
Not sure what's going on, but there is a heavy smell of diesel lately when I get out of the truck, one day, I thought I saw a small area where some dripped on the driveway.

.....did i ever tell you how i had to go back and put my wheel, tire, and axle back on my truck...some how the bolts were all left loose.....wonder who was the ONLY person that has ever worked on my truck besides me?????
Naw...all is still good.....if it’s the HPFP let me know…I’m coming into town New Years…we can rebuild it if needed….
BUT i did find out that i got a unrepairable nail in my right rear tire....so looks like im going to have to find space to bring a tire into Dallas come New Years in the Yeti.......I soo wished they had a 4 Wheel Parts in MO..... BUT thanks to Ryan having road hazard on these BFG's....

Those of you who missed the dyno didn't get to see the sensitive - and strangely apropos - birthday gift my buds gave me.
I found it quite inspiring, as I've already procured 2 females that match 2 of the Disney Princesses (still working on the medium-racked redhead)... best part is, all are much younger - no more ol' ladies for me!
I did - along with everyone else in the phone book - but they were high $$$. I don't mind spending $6 a bullet for creatures that need killing, but for plinking I'm hunting some inexpensive ammo. So far, Mag-Hytech is the best I've found, and I should be bringing 20 rounds with me from Mesquite.
Guess it's just physics, man; 2700ft-lbs of muzzle energy from a 4" barrel cain't be cheap!
Brian, I will be bringing plenty of beer for the weekend - I'll make sure 1 case will be XX Amber.
I'm yanking Evan out of school early, so we should be there before dark - I want to get the truck parked in the shop so I can start on the clutch... otherwise, there'll never be enough time to get the dual-disk in AND light off all the weapons we're bringing.

Well, I just found out that the other half is leaving out for Durant early on Saturday morning, so I guess I'll be leaving out early for Fairfield as well. So hopefully I should be there around 10 or 11.
Now I just have to throw all my projects in the truck and see which ones I get inclined to work on.

Another great meet for the North Texas bunch!
First, thanks to BrIan and Oscar for the use of their shop, and to Amy and BrIans folks for the great food.....especially the fillets on Saturday night. Good friends, good food and a warm place to sleep......it don't get much better.
I'll probably leave someone out...... me, Oscar, BrIan, Rowland, Tyler, Rob, Justin, Mike, Evan, Eli, Max, Matt, Jason, Scott (Bus) and a couple of BrIans friends dropped by.
A lot of wrenching done. I finally got my HPFP on, and new line from the VP to the tank. Most of the work was done by BrIan and Tyler. Thanks guys, you don't know how much I appreciate your help. I'll let the others chime in with the wreching they got done on three major jobs and some misc things.
And the highlight.....A LOT of lead was thrown! Most everyone had at least one weapon, some of us had two or three, and Mike and Evan brought an arsenal. Mike has some really neat old and new fire arms. I'll post some pics later and find a place to post some of the videos. We had at least three cameras going full time.
