Just what my neighbors would love to see! If Daniel gets his new Ram Charger before he leaves, it will be parked here too.

Two new rotors later he was on his way to Ft. Hood. Probably could have cleaned them up and put new pads on, but he said he wanted to put new ones on. Really disappointed me.....I thought I had him set to go.
You can't remember anything! HA! I replaced the calipers and pads. Rotors were fine . I was set to go. If i had replaced those pads and accident would surely have happened as they were shot!

Dan the paint is....well.....not sure if I will keep it or not. But my sister's friend owns a detailing company and he spent 5 hours doing his thing. Paint looks great now! Even the hood got some attention! My sister and grandmother called it the mexican truck. CR said he got daily offers from mexicans as well.

Yes, CR will soon have my new Power Wagon in the driveway. I'm sure with it being gas, ol' red will stay parked a bit

Thanks again CR!

Forgot to report, averaged 19.9 mpg at 75-80mph with stock truck. Love that 12v mileage!

Welcome Home Daniel!
Like many of you, I no longer get steady e-mails about subscribed threads so did not see any of this till I checked in today!

Daniel, Hope you like your gasser better than do I. Having fun with this Jeep and slowly building it up for off road, but hate starting it up.... tinny, rattling, 5 sec startups! How's that for being picky.
Just installed anti-sway bar disconnect for more suspension travel (off road). Can't believe how much difference that little bar makes on the road, but definately better w/o it in the woods, hills, etc.
CTD guys that spend time offroad should try it.... much better traction!!

Max , If you need a place to park your 2WD CTD, I have room.... but I suspect you can find closer to Dallas?

RJ

Jeeps are fun, but I never heard anyone say it was "cheap" fun.

Even if you charge half the price of the storage facilities, you'll be pocketing all kinds of cash.

Thank you for the offer RJ!

I have had many guys call me and offer 10k for the truck and I am holding out for 11.5K ( asking 12.5K) My buddy is selling it for me in Keller.

PS, almost bought a 2012 VW passat TDI a couple days ago, the misses needs a new ride

also, we are packing up to move to Johnstown, PA tomorrow I liked Iowa, I'll be back for more projects in the future though.

and last but most certainly not least, I proposed last night to the most wonderful woman in the world! Never did I ever think it would happen and here I am, and loving it!
