Eli, Those Internet prices..... w/o shipping?
I usually start at Discount tire and then go to my local tire guy for better.
Get a match - always, with free mount and balance! Sometimes a better price! And if I pay cash..... he pays the sales tax!!

Eli, Which Bridgestone and Firestone you looking at?

I don't know about Dallas area, but we had 106* yesterday and no wind!
Been over 100* everyday for two weeks. Heat index has been over 110* for a week.
Not sure you'd be much happier working outside down here either Max.

I open the door to let my dogs out when I get home. They sniff once and turn around ..... crossing their legs till the sun sets.
Because of bad knees, back and some old frost bit on my hands, I'm with Charlie. I kind of like it. Nothing hurts. Could probably live with 10* cooler though.

I have to say.........I like the looks of the new trucks. And I like the size of the cab.....not to big (like the mega) or a little bit to small....(like mine).

There is no threat on the horizon of me buying one any time soon....Mine has lots of life in it...with only 154K on the clock. Only 350K more to my planned time horizon......for replacement......or until I retire.

I want to buy USA but the Candadians and Japanese are coming in much cheaper. I am on my second set of BFG and really like them but would be nice to have a E rated tire. I would jump all over the firestone or bridgestones I just not sure how good they would look on the truck. What do yall think?

Eli, you might also price some Goodyear Duratracs in 315's. I am happy with mine so far.......14K miles and even wear. I expect them to go 40-50K miles. They are only D's but seem to be holding up well pulling my Toyhauler. I'd go with Toyos but they are so darn expensive and don't last.

I would really like to go with Rickson 19.5 wheels and a good brand of heavy duty tires....but that ain't happening soon.

Well I know this is an unusually hot and dry heat wave.....even for North Texas and it has apparently expanded to cover most of middle of the country. But im thinking of retiring and spending a month or two at a time in whatever RV I own then..........and I will just choose to spend July and August in Washington State, Alaska, or somewhere in Canada. It will be far away from the high pressure system that parks over us all summer long and bakes our dry prairie. Like I said.....we never get to enjoy our summers. We have to "Endure" them. That ain't livin! Texas overall has been good to me, but doggonit im sick of the summers here!

Amen!! 10 degrees cooler year round would be perfect. We would get a little more winter weather (which I love) and less baking brutal summer.

No those are local tire places.

I was looking at the Dueler REVO 2 and the Firestone Destination A/T both in 315/70/17.

I bit the bullet and went ahead and got the BFG T/A KO's again. I got them at discount. They worked with me when I went in the store. They knocked 20 dollars a tire off plus I got a 50 dollar rebate from BFG. Not too bad of a deal.

I saw those and liked the way they looked but I wasn't sure how loud they would be.

I have actually been contemplating getting a set of airbags. Do you have some? I have been curious how they effect the ride when aired down and no trailer.

I think they are pretty quiet. They are about the same as BFG TAKOs but probably look a little more aggressive.
