I will mow the back field behind my house like before.....on Aug. 8th, for parking the trucks. This meet will be much better because it won't be 105 degrees.

We can start from say noon on and run into the late evening is fine with us.

So who all is coming? Saturday, May 1st, My house in McKinney, Noon till midnight or anywhere in between.

1. Robert and Jana (maybe the kiddos Jared and Haley)
2. ??
3. ??

..
FINALLY found the info...

Is this still the plan?

It was, but doesn't look like there is any interest.
RJ and Daniel are it so far.

If I can get the double gate finished at my mom's place in Denison THIS weekend, I should be free.

Well you may get ur wish. Since hardly anybody wants to come on the 1st, maybe we should postpone it a few weeks....later into May.

comments? suggestions?

Don't plan around my schedule for May, otherwise the meet will be in June. The first open weekend on my calendar is 6/19...and that's probably only open because it's almost two months away.

After trying to get caught up for everything that I've had to put off for the last few weeks because of papers I probably won't make it.

Well due to lack of interest and/or schedule conflicts........we will go ahead and cancel for May 1st. It's almost like everybody is kinda "DTR'd" out after 5+ years of meets, drags, dynos, and pulls etc. and want to take a year off.. Or maybe just the economy?

Im planning to have a neighborhood party (non-DTR but u r welcome to come if u want) on May 8th most likely.

If yall want to try again for a DTR meet at my house on the 15th, 22nd, or 29th...I can prob work something out. Speak up. Im kinda surprized Micah and the ODRA don't have something coming up pretty soon.

Just found a reasonably priced Dodge part! Relatively anyway.
Have tried to fix my vacumme lines to the frt axle (for 4x4 operation), but any decent bounce just dislodges the soft lines, where they join the hard lines ....going to the transfer case.
The whole piece..... hard lined, soft lines and connectors (from T-case to frt axle) comes as one part #. Price - $42.00 from dealer.

I was so impressed I asked about a new dash 'bezel'. Would you believe $350.00??????? BUT, they have a glue on cover....identical materal.... for $150.00 Looks very nice. Bgt one.. will report after install.
Mine is really cracked and missing chunks and pieces. I have not had the dash cracking problems that many of you have, but my bezel is in bad shape. Remover a few too many times, I guess?

I could go for a new dash....

Well I had a weekend for the books, a class mate called me on Thursday about midnight and said " pack your stuff we are leaving for Vegas tomorrow after class". so we did, 11 hour drive or so . We tried to get in as many of the sights as we could in Vegas with the time allotted. We left Vegas around 1pm checked out 'Boulder Dam' for about an hour and then drove on.

We were about 4 miles from the Grand Canyon exit when we decided that would be a good side trip. The Grand Canyon is so amazing. Before this little endeavor I had never been West of Albuquerque in the Southwest. So I tackled 3 amazing places in about 8 hours, Vegas, Dam, Canyon. What a great trip. Heck I even left Vegas with about $2.40 more than I got there with .

We arrived back in Tuc. at 0530 this morning, it was a rough morning in class today nap time.

We drove a chevy SS truck and not mine so I still can't report on mpg loss/ gains of the Fluxes.

Just thought I would share me weekend.

My bezel has been off less than ten times and it has one crack at the top left.
