Hail Damage

Ok. Who got hit?

When the hail hit, my truck was getting bombarded on the passenger side. Surprisingly, only about 4-5 dings on the side. Only 1, on the front fender, is really noticeable.

My hood, which already had several dings and dents, just got worse. Not to sad about that. The tops of my fenders next to the hood got about 5 dents and my cab roof gut uglier. It could have been worse but it still makes me sad.

Anyone else get hit, or not get hit?

Come share your sad tales...

...let us sit upon the ground
And tell sad stories of the death of kings...

Time for "fire and ice" aka a heat gun to warm it and dry ice to cool it.. it works on some dings not all.. might be worth a try....

Mine got hit pretty good. Hood has about 40 dents, got both front fenders 3-5 times, plenty of dents on the cab and tops of the doors, also got the top of the bed.
Already have an appointment with the body shop in wichita falls for 12pm tomorrow..... Should be interesting.

Oh man, sorry to hear about that guys! Sucks! I'm in CA, not sure if we got any in FW or not, be interesting to see when I get home tomorrow. Don't think so, cause I'd get a call asap, and I didn't.

lucky you

When it quit, I looked out my front door and the roads were white. It looked like there was snow on the ground. No. It was hail.

I was standing there at my glass door, praying one wouldn't fly into it and shatter right in my eyes...cause they were flying in sideways, and I was watching them hit the ground, some were as small as half a marble. The biggest ones I saw were a bit bigger than ping pong *****.

Kinda fun, in some respects.
I got video. Ill upload it later.

Down here in SA we had marble - 2" size. I actually thought the windows in the house might break but I don't think any did. The vehicles are dirty but I don't think we have any hail damage.

You might want to check your house roof also!

Got some small dents on the hood and roof, otherwise it only knocked one of the adhesive hotspots off my right mirror.

Went and met my Geico adjuster for repairing my truck today. $4079.00 check coming my way. The guy saved me most of my deductible. Thankfully I had full coverage. Every panel on the truck must have attention. Goin back with somewhat of a custom paint scheme.......

I got lucky!!!! I was at work when it hit and afterwards I went to see the damage and nothing!!! The car parked behind me had several dents, but mine..... Not even a single dent!!! Don't know how???!!!! The only thing I can think of is that my flatbed and the truck on the up wind side took most of it for me. But not even the roof had a dent.

I think I only got some small dents on the hood and roof, but I won't know how bad they are until I wash it.
