Wiring problem?
Wiring problem?
I get no passenger side blinker / brake signal out of either of the trailer connections on my '05. The driver's side works fine, but I get nothing from either the 4 pin under the bumper or the 7 pin in the bumper. This is a factory tow package with totally stock wiring. I do get running lights on that side.
Where do I start? The tail light on the truck all works correctly.
Thoughts?

It's probably not the answer you wanted, but I totally distrust any factory-supplied "towing package".
I do my own wiring and go straight to the source for all the functions and never have a trailer/truck wiring problem.
The ones that use those handy "plug and play" pig-tail connectors and trailer-tow packages are forever having problems; a few will jump in and say they never have any problems, but I see plenty.
I recommend you ignore the wiring you have and start over from the beginning as if the truck had no trailer connections whatsoever; do it right and it will never have to be worked on again.
One other thing :
Wire the trailer markers completely independent of the trucks lighting system; if you can turn ON the trailer lights with the trucks head-light switch, even if relay powered, sooner or later it will cause you grief.

I'll look into the whole wiring system when I have time, but I just noticed this today, and I'm leaving at zero dark hundred tomorrow morning on a banzai 1400 mile trip with a little trailer. Any thoughts on where to look tonight? I still have to do all the other prep work before this too, and I'll need my sleep so I'm not unsafe.

Check the trailer light function as well things might be cross wired which is what blew the fuse to begin with..
Hope this helps
Fuse, fuse, fuse.

What the others have said, fuses under the hood. It takes one of the tiny ones. You can buy an assortment for about $5 at most auto parts stores. Something I learned from the U-haul man working on mine, you can use a test light on the backs of the fuses so you don't have to pull each one if the labeling is missing or unreadable. Ground the test light and touch each side of the fuse with the probe. When you find one that won't light on either side of the fuse, start there.
