Wired to charge?
Re:Wired to charge?
Yes with the factory tow group the plug on the rear of your truck has a always HOT line coming out for your trailer battery. The diagram of the plug wires is right on the plug cap. PK
Re:Wired to charge?
If used properly for the purpose intended it works just fine which is to charge the trailer battery while travelling down the road. If the trailer cord is left plugged in after travelling all day and you stop for the night to sleep everything will be ok, if you use the trailer power extensively after stopping then unplug the cord and plug back in the next day when travelling. This way battery is always fresh when you stop.PK

The RV batteries are not isolated from the Ram's batteries.
[/quote]

Unless you install a battery isolator - - a $20 relay available from most any RV service center.
