Pre wired for overhead display?
I have a 2001 without the overhead display (temp, compass, etc) and my wifes truck has the display. We are selling the wifes truck ('99) and I would like to swap the overhead consoles first. Is this going to be simple or difficult? Whould my truck have a plug for it already there or a plug in for it somewhere else or does it require a new computer?

My 02 did not have the wiring for the display. I have the overhead console but no display. You may have it just pull down the overhead console to see if you have wiring.
If you don't have the wiring pull it out of your wifes truck.
