Where's the best/cheapest place to get a lowboy gooseneck? About a 24-30 ft one. Thanks guys!

Check with Hale Trailer Sale in Tulsa OK. I bougt a 24' low-deck gooseneck shown in my gallery for $3600 three years ago and I love it. Prices have changed, but the Load Trail trailers are nice. They are made north of Paris TX in summner by a bunch of mininites (spelling?) from what I under stand. Great price, great quality. Hope this helps. There's a pic of the trailer with a tractor on it and one with firewood loaded on it.

I have a H&H tilt deck, by far the best trailer I've owned.

I've heard good things about BigTex. I would not go cheap on a trailer, it'll just give you problems... 30' lowboy should be about 4K I'd think.

yup, Ive got a big tex 20' bumper pull that is more than 15 years old, and while the wood floor has rotted out and needs replaced, the frame and substructure, along with axles and brakes are all in great shape.. some surface rust and peeling paint, but with some sanding and another coating of spraypaint, it will be just like new.. Its a great trailer, and will be awesome when Im done with it.

Another vote for BigTex. I have owned several brands and if I buy another one, it will be another BigTex. Superior quality

I have a 30' PJ lowboy GN (pics in my gallery), I ordered it with a bunch of extras, thus the $5k price tag on it. I went with the PJ for a few reasons, the dealer is only a couple miles from my house, they are powdercoated, not painted (I'm personally not a fan of paint, it's pathetically weak stuff), pretty well built and I believe Big Tex builds lowboy gossenecks only as long as 24/25' (correct me if I'm wrong). Load trail trailers are essentialy the same thing as a PJ, so I'm told and from what I can see, but are not powdercoated. Terry's trailers ( www.terrystrailers.com )makes some nice trailers for reasonable prices.

I don't think they are limited to 24-25'. I called yesterday and asked for a 40' + 5' dove tail 3x7k axle dovetail trailer. It would cost $7244. This one is not lowboy, it is over wheel full 8.5ft width. It isn't a normal trailer, but the guy I talked with said they could build it.

Not a bad price for such a huge trailer.

CoDodge2500Man;
Go to the readers rigs thread, and look on the first page. My new 25+5 ROLLS RITE is there with my ride. I just got it and it pulls like a dream. I have always had someone elses stuff for my pullin tractors and now that i have a really nice trailer you can't beat the Rolls Rite. I researched for over a year before I decided which one I liked and this is by far the best.
Good luck
Eric
