Trailer protection??

Do those grass skirt things you put on your bumper actually stop any of the debris coming up and hitting the trailer. All the ones I normally see are like strips of carpet hanging down.

They are mostly used by the RV crowd that tow a vehicle behind their RV, so it keeps the dust, mud and stuff from hitting the car behind on the trailer.

NO!!!! They are useless on anything larger than a pea. The solid ones are the best for stopping things from hitting your trailer, but they can be a pain when going up into stations and such.
