Just because someone has done it, doesn't mean they SHOULD. I see a lot of trailers come thru the shop that are illegal in some regard from inadequate tires to axles that are too light and even frames that are too small for the application. And usually by the time I see them, something has happened. Something BAD!

1. The 2x12 are plenty for the weight if properly supported, but if there is any water/dirt/mold even with FWD or AWD you could be looking at a bad day quickly.
2. As stated, tying down just the front tires is not enough. At a minimum the rear should be tied at the wheels or using a frame to chassis chain with a tension buckle on it.
3. In the last photo I do not believe the weight of the truck is centered over the axles on the trailer and could remove weight from the 5th wheel. I have seen this before and at speed could result in loss of drive axle traction.

Once again, great buildup
I agree 05CTDN8. It IS a great build but there needs to be a bit more attention to the safety aspects. Securing the vehicles at all 4 corners in some form or fashion is required.

Like I said I was surprised too. The trailer was not a home built but is made by a large commercial trailer manufacturer in both Canada and the US.

Very nice new build, have you thought of enclosing the under storage compartment? It would make it cleaner and secure.
