RV furnace control

My Hydro-Flame DC82 furnace started acting up, not lighting reliably. No only did it get cold in here, but the fan would run on and waste precious battery.

After thorough diagnostics to isolate the failure, I replaced the FenWal control board with a Dinosaur Fan 50 Plus Pins board. Other than drilling a hole for mounting it, it went in plug and play. It has 3 times the warranty, is a full featured flame safety and fan management board, and cost considerably less than an OEM board.

In fact, If I had known about it, I would have replaced a perfectly good FenWal board with the Dinosaur board.

When I got home from my trip, I quickly winterized the trailer as cold was coming that night. I hooked up a 30 lb. cylinder to keep the furnace running, and I must have gotten a bit of water in the gas line as the furnace flamed out overnight.

Shut down and quiet, cold in the morning. Wouldn't light, but the Dinosaur board tried several times.

After it warmed up outside the furnace worked, and has since.

I love the control board that actually has some logic in it.
