Towing Mirrors

Well, I'm narrowing down all my options for my custom flatbed. I need to decide on some towing mirrors before they put the bed on. I've burned the web up looking for mirrors, lots of expensive ones out there. Looking for opinions on the baddest mirrors to fit a 99, but in the $300 range, don't need the heat/power options really. I saw some a while back that were 10" x 10", can't find them now though. Has anyone ever put west coast style truck mirrors on their second gen., and did it look OK? The bed is gonna be 8' wide, so the mirrors will need to stick out there a ways.

Look into the optional Dodge Tow Mirrors. Not the standard flip out mirrors, but the massive ones that slide out like the Fords. I think that they even have a set of Turn Signals in them.

only ones I saw on that page are the flip out style. I have the power oens on my 97 (yes i did the conversion), and it's is so much easier towing to see now.

worth the money for sure

There's some 10x10's on Geno's garage. Look like they slide out.

Just as an aside, I love my heated mirrors (and I am in Miami, FL) - they quickly get rid of condensation and a few times I've been up north towing with crappy weather and I was very glad I had them. Don't need the heated SEATS though...
