Towing clutch for a truck 400/450 hp range

Hello all

I am currently using a SB Con O FE in my 2001 truck. We also have a 2004,my wife's truck. I have been working on her truck to get it to run as strong as mine.

I use the 3500 (wife's truck) to pull the 5er and I use my 2500 to pull the goose neck.

On a dynojet dyno I am running just over 400 HP and 900 torque at the rear wheels. Of course I am not running that strong when pulling the trailers.

Finally my questions. What clutch are you running for this Hp/torq range? I am about to jump up into the 500 hp and 1000 torq range. I do not want to loose my driveablity to include pulling a trailer (15K) , but I also want to be able to hook up to a sled and pull it down the track.

Thank you
See Ya
Chris

If you want to sled pull with 500 HP and still tow you will have to compromise somewhere... If you will be pulling a DD would be the best option, but would not have as good manners towing, or daily driving. But there are several mambers that daily drive DDs and Brian tows heavy and often with his SB dual disc.
