I would like 400 to 450 rwhp
Going to get back into the power mods after being on hold for a couple years (bought a house), I would like to see between 400 and 450hp at the rear wheels. I'm thinking DV's Turbo and Injectors as my purchases for the season and I would like some advice. I want to keep it comfortable as a daily driver, nothing to extreme. Thanks!

Injectors are going to be a good start but probably go hand in hand with DV's. A good 90 hp set (DDP is my fave) would put you into that HP range without too much fuel. And with the recent market flood with turbos, its basically an open cheque to figure out which model you want. A good 64-12 or 64-14 would be a comfortable turbo for daily driving.
Your sig mentions a bigger 215 pump, but you should be able to get well into the 400hp mark with the stock 160 pump.

I was thinking along the same lines, I would like to try and keep the black smoke to as much of a minimum as possible. I like to be able to blow a little cloud now and then but I don't like a continuous hase. What are some thoughts on the 370's? I've heard some mixed reviews.

Get some hot rod 370's from F1 diesel. They don't smoke unless you want them to, they start well in the cold, very smooth. I'd think a 62mm turbo would be adequate, but a 64 would set you up for more down the road. Might look into Garrett or Turbonetic chargers as well as the BW turbos, as they seem to be comparable in prices now, and they are ball bearing units.

I've been searching the various websites for turbos, but I don't know any of the codes or technical writing. Does anybody know a good site for looking up prices of various turbos and such?

The ones I would deal with.. High Tech Turbos, Performance Diesel Warehouse, Industrial Injection, oh and the DTR Store. Tate has another vendor that he uses that I can't remember..
HTT has good technical info as well..http://www.htturbo.com/

Jason, I'm gonna have a silver bullet in my position in the next couple weeks. If you want to give it a shot, let me know. I will also be pulling the sps62 off the dually to put it on the 12v, but we could do a test on your truck if you are up for it. Should give you a good idea if a bigger turbine will be more for you, or if you want a bigger compressor.

I like the driveabiity of the 215 pump much better than the smaller units. Stock DVs will work with bigger inejctors, too.
Plus, you don't need a GSK to get the fueling up to 3,000 rpm.
I couldn't believe the difference when I went from 180 to a 215 pump.

I thought if you had a 180 pump and change the dv's that the 215 pump has it would then be a 215 pump?

A lot of internal difference between the 180 & 215 hp pumps: plunger & barrels; cam (drive the plungers); & governor.
And yes, 215 pumps usually have 181 DVs. 180 pumps normally have 171s but some did come with 181s.
