I've never seen it done with two bumper pulls, but it is legal with a 5th wheel and then a buper pull in most states. Here in CA it does require a special endorsement on your license. I think there is also a 60??? foot maximum here.

Its legal in Arkansas up to 65' but I'm 9' over and have never had a problem. I do this maybe 3-4 times a year on backroads with a max speed of 60mph and it tows beautifully...and stops good too. If you do this, be sure and beef up the rear bumper on the TT so it can handle the push/pull of the boat. You will be amazed how the truck handles the load.

The pic is kind of small but you can go to my gallery and its a little bigger. Anybody know how to make it larger?????

You have to have a 5th wheel, not a bumper pull

california the legal limit is 65'. some guys have told me it is 70' but in writing i have seen 65'. that is also what officer parada of chp has told me in person. my train measures in at 60' 8". also your first trailer cannot be longer than
28'6". all axles have to have brakes. and you must have a doubles endorsement to your class a license. you can have a noncommercial license but it must have the doubles endorsement. if my job didn't require it i would drop my commercial license and keep it noncom. if you get stopped in california it counts double points and fines even if you're driving a minivan... that sucks...

I live in MO and a buddy of mine use to tow this all around the state and never got in trouble. We double tow a pair of wave runner trailers, I have seen many boat trailers doubled up also... So I don't think you will have any issues... Just remember everywhere you go is a "one way" street... Don't plan on backing up very far, if at all...
