Tow capacity

I have a 97 2500 club cab, ctd and have been told that it has the towing package as well as the camper package. The rear end has 4 leaf springs and 2 overload leaves, and sway bar. It has the receiver hitch and transmission cooler. Where can I find the GCWR for this particular truck? The GVWR of 8800# is on the door sticker. One website I found shows 13,600 tow capacity and says higher for fifth wheels. I realize that I am limited by the pin weight as a 5er of that weight would probably have a pin weight of 3,000#.

Ask your local dealer to print a "build sheet"...They usually do it for free or a nuisance charge. That will fill in some of the information for you.
