confused about tow capacity

confused about tow capacity
sticker in door gcvwr is 11,000. where do you get the 20,000 plus rated for 1 ton dually?Does'nt this mean truck weight plus trailer weight equate to gross combined vehilcle weight?

Better look at it closer, it should say GVWR not GCWR. The GCWR is not on the door sticker of Dodge trucks.

Bill, is the GCWR on the door sticker of the Ford or GM?

I don't know about the other vehicles, if it is on the door plate it is law, if it is not it is only a suggestion.
