hijacker 5th wheel hitch
hijacker 5th wheel hitch
Are hijacker hitches 5th wheel good? Mine had a reese by the previous owner.
Found a double pivot hijacker 16k for $275. Is that a good buy? Will it bolt through the reese hole pattern? Or should I hold out and get another kind of hitch?

I've got one (for 6 years) and I love it. Get the dual pivot.
The thing I like about it is that a bar goes behind the 5th wheel pin to lock it in position and there is 0 chance of a false hookup like what can be experienced with other brands. I know about checking for hookup before lifting the jacks, but whith a Hijacker you never have to worry about a false hook up. I know false hook ups are never supposed to happen, but I also know of a number of people that wrecked their truck boxes, so they do.
I like the dual pivot because it is easy to take the head off of the frame and then it is realatively easy for one person (me) to pull the hitch out of the truck, in two pieces.
