Hijacker "Ultra Slide" 16K 5th wheel hitch
Anyone have one of these? It is fairly new to the Hijacker line of 5th wheel hitches and operates differently (better) than their regular slider hitch. I was very impressed looking at it in person. I have been trying to decide between this hitch and the Pullrite 16K Superglide (Pullrite owners - You do not have to chime in on how this is the greatest hitch in the world). I have done extensive research on the Pullrite and know it is a good hitch and how it automatically slides, etc, etc.
When everything is said and done, it is $1000.00 less money to go with the Hijacker Ultra slide (I'm talking hitch, installation, brake, plug wiring, etc, on either hitch). Additionally, I have the peace of mind that I can tow someone elses 5th wheel or they could tow mine if needed. With the Pullrite you cannot do this unless you remove the plate they mount on your kingpin or buy their adapter plate.....which is more $$$ and extra gear you have to carry...just in case.
