Thread on Air Ride Systems
Hey there, I was wondering if someone could point me to a thread on air ride systems. It is for my dad, he has a 96 CTD and he regularly tows 18000 on a fifth wheel and he says he needs to replace his springs soon anyways so he was thinking about going with air ride.
He likes the looks of the Air lift Co. Roadtamer kit, as it replaces the entire suspension system. I was also thinking about getting it and somehow rigging up something for the front also, so I can get rid of the coil spring setup while still keeping a smooth ride. What do you guys think? Is there a thread on this system, and by the looks of it, making your own wouldnt be too difficult. THanks.

go to www.kelderman.com. they make a kit to replace the rear springs with a 4 link air suspension. and the also have a kit for the 4x4's to put air ride in the front, but I am not sure about the 2x4's though.
