Sensor for weight???

I have a 2002 and pull a 9000 lb. trailer and have never
had a problem. The other day I loaded the truck with a
lot of roofing material, had to take it 50 miles away, have
a lot of hills in between, going down the hills the trans
wanted to shift down every time. Is there a sensor in the
rear end that tells when the truck is over loaded. [undecided]

Re:Sensor for weight???

I doubt the tranny was overheating, the shifting down
started 3 miles from where I started. I may be wrong!
The reason I asked was that I heard that GM had put
one on with their allison trany.
