Reese Signature Series, cheapest place to get?
Reese Signature Series, cheapest place to get?
I am trying to purchase a 16K Reese Signature Series in the next few days.
Anyone had a positive recent experiences with buying one on-line? I found one place that sells it for $485.00 + about $120 for the install (under bed rail) kit.
That seems to be about the cheapest I can find, I won't have time to call around locally until Tuesday afternoon, but I find that most of the time I can do better on price even with paying shipping by getting in on-line.
I would prefer to shop somewhere that I can see and touch the item, but refuse to pay a $125-$150 premium to do so.
Also, does anyone see a point in stepping up to the 18K? As far as I can tell that is over the trucks capacity anyway? The soon to be mine camper is 8500 dry, so say 12K absolute MAX loaded out. This is not to say I won't be changing up in a few years, but how heavy they really get?
The 18K runs about $150.00 or so more.

P.J:
If you ever go camping out in the desert or the woods, generally uneven ground. You will appreciate the ability for your hitch to pivot while trying to get it hooked back up after camping for the weekend.. I have the 24K signature.

I saw another picture someone posted here of a 24K Reese, that thing is stout, that's for sure!
And it goes a little something like this:

Came out nicely, no issues with the install, all torqued up and towed very well the first time out.
$799.00 shipped INCLUDING the install kit.
