Need Input on Reese Signature Series
Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Reese Signature Series 16K 5er hitch. It looks pretty nice, well designed, and it completely removes from bed when not needed. When removed it only leaves four holes. Mounting rails are located under bed.
Anybody have this hitch and what are your thoughts on it??
Thanks

I looked at that also. I ended up with the reese pro series 16K. I was told by the dealer that intalled mine that there were problems with the mechanism hooking to the pin. I am not sure what the problems are but they said thier owner had gotten one and has has nothing but problems. The pro series is proven and best bang for the buck in thier opinion.

I have the 18K Signature and like it. The only thing I don't like is the size of the head. It's as big as a semi's head. I do like the way it mounts and removes. Only have about 5K miles towing with it but it looks like its gong to be a winner.
My son has the B&K which he likes now that he has fixed the problem of rocking back and forth enough to be annoying.
I installed the hitch and it took about 4 or 5 hours. Biggest problem was fishing in the 4 bolts that hold the side plates to the frame. I'd buy it again.

The Signature series is the best hitch Reese makes by a long shot. Just look at the 1 piece jaw and the head. I would check out the 18K so you get the double pivot. I have been very happy with mine, install was time consuming but I did not feel comfortable having anyone else do it.
