Question Pullrite Superglide questions

For those with a Pullrite Superglide hitch, what kind of maintenance do you do on a regular basis? Also, has anyone rebuilt ANY part of their hitch? Any failures with the Pullrite? I’ve read of a few, but they all seem to be “operator error”. One more question: What kind of lubricant do you use and how do you apply it? That seems to be of the upmost importance when using a Pullrite! I'm just trying to get as much info before I use my "new" hitch.

Thanks for any and all responses!

Here's some info from Pullrite's site.

I've had mine over 3 years and had no issues. Use a spray on grease. Or a dry/graphite lube.

i use slip plate on mine and have had no issues. the best thing to do is keep these hitches clean to prevent the way bars from getting scraped up.
so far we have towed around 15,000 miles with no issues to speak of.

I've been running one for over 1 1/2 years and love it. I've been lubing it with spray on white lithium grease. Occasionally I wipe the grease off the rails and re-spray. Slip-plate seems like a cleaner way to go but you have to disassemble and completely clean off all the old grease or it won't stick.

The main issue is to keep it lubed and clean. I have read where some do not lube and tear up the hitch from friction, then blame Pullrite.
