Prodigy P3 problem

When hooked up to my trailer with electric brakes, P3 flashes "circuit overload - no brakes". But brakes work just fine.

When hooked up to my trailer with elec/hyd brakes the controller flashes "no trailer connected". But the brakes also work just fine. Controller will flash from normal screen to the "no trailer connected" screen.

whats up? any ideas? This just started the other day.

You've checked all wiring and set the P3 to the correct brake type?

"Controller will flash from normal screen to the "no trailer connected" screen."
Is this continuous and short time span or several minutes between?
Sure sounds like maybe a loose connection on your truck.

Check your ground between truck and junction box on the trailer

Ran a diagnostic on it and its worked ever since. I am going to this weekend crawl up under the truck and check all the wire. Been thru some pretty nasty stuff here lately.
