Pot removel

Anyone ever remove the bath room from a 8' slide in camper? It would give me a lot more space.

thanks

Pot shouldn't be a problem. We talk about bombing and meth all the time so what's wrong with a little talk of pot?

Sorry I can't lend any insight to the original question except to say that if you don't need the bathroom, taking it out should give you more usable space and less weight. I don't see any reason that it couldn't be removed.

The only reason I can think of is that if bathroom is removed you won't be able to take interest off loan as a tax write off if you do that now. Other than that camper will work fine with or without a pot. I have been on trips and never used ours, but the wife and child has, so mine will have to stay! Once you remove your pot you can also remove the black water tank, since it only serves the pot.

Or leave the tank and couple it to the grey and increase capacity of grey.

I know that most will not believe this but I’ll give you a straight answer.

Just remove the bolts that hold down the pot slide it away from the wall, then disconnect and cap the water line. Also I would stop by the plumbing supply store and pick up a screw in sewer plug. That will stop things from falling in or any poop or grey water from sloshing out.

Then roll it and fire it up.

Couldn't it be used as a comfortable recliner with a proper modification?
Also if removed and black tank left in place, the hole, with proper aim, could still serve the original purpose while still giving the extra space the OP wanted. A fairly tight cap would be highly useful though (like a grocery bag with rubber bands, for example).
