Hi all,<br> Here's some interesting info as far as towing with the TST plates.<br> When I ran the 5 plate, normal road EGTs were just under 700 but a load would easily throw me over 1200 and force me to let up to get the temps back down. My pulling mileage went up about 1/4 mpg.<br> I've now dropped back to the 8 plate. Normal temps sit at 750 to 800 but my peak temp stays under 1100 unless it turns into a very hard uphill pull. The mileage slid back a little but is still a tenth or so over stock.<br> I miss the pure power that the 5 plate had but the 8 does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can pull hard and not have to worry about EGTs climbing out of sight.<br><br>Bill
