PJ trailers

We are looking at a 28ft tandem dually gooseneck with beaver tails. I would like to know everyone's opinion on these trailers. The wiring isn't as good as some and the deck is not fir.

I like the powder coated frame, order one with the Rumber decking it is good stuff.. As for the wiring well I'm sure it will work for a while.. I strongly recommend the Elec/hyd disc brakes for the bigger trailers..

Get a really good custom made trailer, (subliminal hint), and you won't need to worry about warranties!

Great trailers, I hauled on them for many years and never had a problem. Heck my last one had an electric over hydraulic brake system problem and was fixed replacing the whole unit by the mfg of the system for free without asking anything to PJ.

Go for it.

PS you know what the haters of PJ say what the name stands for, correct ????

Piece of Junk.

Don't listen to them, they will beg to use your trailer

I recently bought a tandem dump bumper pull direct from them. The price was good and I needed it right away. When I went to pick it up the trailer I got was not the one I looked at. The hitch coupler had been damaged in transit and it was extremely difficult to hook up as the non adjustable hitch was too tight.
As I went to pull away I checked the brakes, there weren't any. I went back inside and told the manager who sent their mechanic out. He pulled the breakaway and asked me to drive. Not a single wheel locked up on the mud. It was almost closing time and the mech said the brakes are not very good anyway and to take it and try it. If no good to bring it back next week.
I adjusted the brakes as they hadn't been touched, the hitch is still poor and the lic plate location meant that the plate was curled up from rocks after only 3 miles of gravel road. I moved the plate and light. I also found the spare wheel stud stripped from over tightening and the pressure almost twice what it should be.
They advertise that the trailer is prepped before paint, I have rust all over under the paint. Would I buy another PJ? NO.

I have a 37' tandem/dual PJ trailer with dovetail and love it. It seems to be a lot more trailer than most dealers have around here for the same cost or less. I have had some of the decking boards crack but this is due to the weight put on them over a very small area. I'll add metal runners to fix that issue.

subliminal hint not noticed
Hmmm? I wonder where someone might find a link to such a place.

I did buy a custom 2 place ATV trailer. Very specific needs. Very nice and I get lots of compliments about it. (I'm not fishing for more!!!)

it all depends on what you are pulling..all the diff manufacturs have there pros and cons say you were haulin hay, going to need a good torque tube and what we always call the lateral bars run from the frame up to the deck.witch there for will not alow the trailer to flex near like it would without them .will increase the stability because hay shifts alot...a dozzer, tractor, ect. will not require as many lateral bars because the weights not goin to shift like hay would.
