Ohio/Kentucky Laws
What luke said. I have never been stopped with a load and I've had several.from large tractors to smaller combines and most every farm animal around. Some people on here get very worried over very little to worry about. I think you'll be fine with the right trailer and a modicum of common sense.

Due to a slight math error (wrong inputs into the equation) I pulled a 6000 lb, 30', 20K rated gooseneck loaded with an 8000 lb skid steer and 8000 lb mini-excavator (22K tied to the truck) from Lexington to my home (only 42 miles) on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I passed no less than 8 city, state, county police vehicles and not a one bothered to stop me. I will note that I have KY farm plates. Don't know if that played into the equation or not.

Well like I said in your last thread, run at night. The ohio cops can be pretty bad and almost all of them that I have met always seem to be on an ego trip and be in a super trooper kinda mood. Just wait till dark make sure all your lights work and don't give a copy any reason to look at you and you will be fine at night!
Ohio cops probably won't bother you if you're non-comm. You don't have deep enough pockets.
Definetly follow the advice above; don't give them a reason to look at you and you'll be just fine.
